Meet and Starting Point: Meet at 9 45am for a 10am start at Hockley Heath Recreation Ground, Old Warwick Road Hockley Heath. [The entrance is first left on the Old Warwick Road after turning off Stratford Road by the McClaren Garage].

Walk Details:  Initially canal towpath, then fields, with some quiet lanes towards the end. There are a couple of very minor ups and downs but nothing at all serious. When I pre-walked the route, a couple of tracks towards the end, were rather spattered with a thin wet mud layer but were very solid under the layer.

Lunch: For those wishing to stay for lunch, a reservation will be made at the Wharf Tavern. If you are planning to stay for lunch, please indicate by Friday next (the 13th), as the Wharf can get pretty busy on a Sunday. 

The astute will notice that this is the walk originally planned for 23 November but cancelled because of Storm Bert. At present the forecast for the 15th looks much more congenial.
