What do I NEED?
What do you need to go for a walk?
It depends! In summer, sturdy trainers are good enough as long as they are comfy, in winter you’ll want some good waterproof boots and waterproof clothing. Most people use a small backpack for food, drink and a raincoat, especially on longer walks.
Our longer walks usually have a stop for lunch – nothing more exotic than homemade sandwiches and a flask or drinks bottle.
