Distance: 5 miles

Meeting:     For 9.30am departure from Bentley Heath Recreation Ground Car Park to arrange car sharing (preferable as the pub only has a small car park) or, if going direct, 10.15 at The Bell Pub, Shottery, Stratford-upon-Avon CV37 9HD.

Directions:  Stratford Road towards Stratford. At the traffic island with A46 turn right 4th exit A46S towards Evesham.  At the next traffic island turn left onto A422 (Local Traffic). After 0.5 mile turn right into Church Lane. After 0.4 mile at mini roundabout turn left into Bell Lane. Follow the road round to the right and turn right into the pub car park.

Walk details: 5-mile walk. Mainly hard flat surfaces. No stiles. The pub will not be open when we start so no toilets available. However, at about ½ way round there are good clean public toilets in Stratford near the theatre.

Lunch: In view of the short distance no lunch stop is planned. The pub is likely to be busy but we could try a drink and snack there or maybe stop at The View on the way back.
