Meet: Bentley Heath Car Park. Please be ready to leave by 9.30. David and Sheila will be going directly to the walk start earlier to check on parking availability.

Description: Owing to all the rain we have been having and the state of most footpaths through fields we have decided to abandon our intended walk and repeat a walk which is a 6-miles, mainly flat over hard standing paths through very nice wide-open spaces, starting at Kings Heath Park https://www.birmingham.gov.uk/info/20089/parks/1679/kings_heath_park , leading through to Highbury Park https://www.birmingham.gov.uk/directory_record/9119/highbury_park , and then into Cannon Hill Country Park https://www.birmingham.gov.uk/info/20089/parks/1680/cannon_hill_park before returning to the start.

No kissing gates or stiles on the route. The parks are linked by a few short road sections.

Food & Drink: We should be finished by 12.30 so please bring a snack and drink. We are not planning to have a lunch stop but if anyone wants to make their own arrangements to stop in the park afterwards, please feel free to do so. There is a small café in Kings Heath Park.
