Location – Hartshill Hayes Country Park car park CV10 0TE

There is a charge of £3.30 per day for parking, payable by card. There are toilets available there and a small kiosk, providing tea, coffee and snacks with outdoor seating.

I recommend getting there via the road through Galley Common as this avoids the narrow road on the alternative approach.

Distance – 4.9 miles

Description: This is a varied walk that provides great views over north Warwickshire and Leicestershire, takes in the Coventry canal, returning through Hartshill and the lovely wooded Country Park itself. The walk is mainly easy going on good paths or minor roads. There are a couple of moderate ascents and some steps down but no stiles.

Time of Meet – Bentley Heath Recreation Ground car park at 9.15am. Walk to start from Country Park at 10am.
