Start: 10.30 from Adlestrop Village Hall (GL56 0YF) (Voluntary donations)

Description: a varied undulating walk with mainly gradual ascents, passing Chastleton House (NT), the villages of Cornwell and Lower Oddington, and the Daylesford Estate, before returning to Adlestrop.

Go to Longbridge Island at J15 of M40, either by M40, or by taking A4141 towards Warwick, and

going right at island with A46 to take A46(S) towards Leamington and Stratford. Take first exit to Longbridge island .

At island take exit signed A429 (Stow)

Continue on A429 via Wellesbourne and through Halford to reach Moreton in Marsh

On reaching Moreton continue to first traffic island, and turn left (A44 but not well signed)

Continue on this road for approx. 4.5 miles, through Little Compton, and just over 1 mile past

Little Compton, turn right on on A436 (Stowe and Chastleton House)

After 2.5 miles turn right to Adlestrop (Signed Adlestrop and Evenlode)

Follow road to village. Look for “Racehorses” sign on right and road junction on left with shelter.

50 yds after “Racehorses” sign turn right into Village Hall and park.
