Location: Batsford to Blockley circular

Meet: Bentley Heath, 9.00 am for 9.15 depart

Start: 10.30 from Batsford Garden Centre car park  (GL56 9AT)  (We have approval to use the car park, providing we stop for refreshments at the end of the walk). Please park near car park entrance, away from garden centre.

Description: a varied undulating walk with a couple of significant ascents and descents, passing through the lovely village of Blockley, and to the side of the small village of Batsford.

Directions: to GL56 9AT                          40 miles                         

Go to Longbridge Island at J15 of M40, either by M40, or by taking A4141 towards Warwick, and

going right at island with A46 to take A46(S) towards Leamington and Stratford. Take first exit to Longbridge island .

At island take exit signed A429  (Stow)

Continue on A429 via Wellesbourne and through Halford to reach Moreton in Marsh

On reaching Moreton continue to second traffic island, and turn right (A44 )

Continue on this road for approx. 1.5 miles and turn right into driveway marked for the Batsford Arboretum/ garden Centre, and the Falconry Centre. Follow the clear signs to the Garden Centre car park.
