We have received the following from SMBC which reference to the network of footpaths between Hampton-in-Arden, Catherine-de-Barnes, Bickenhill and the Airport.

I have up to date information regarding the reopening of the pathways around the M42 junction. The contractors have had their resources heavily tied up dealing with ongoing bridge repairs. Therefore, new proposed opening dates for the Public Rights of Way are as below, (these are subject to change.)

M106 = January-26

M109 = January-26

M112 = January-26

M113 = January-26

M1133 = January-26

M123 = November-25

M122 = November-25

As I receive information I will try and share it with those who have expressed an interest.

The bridge repairs referred to at to do with the new bridges where there was a dispute as to the specification of steel used for the bridge. This has delayed the full opening of the bridge, and therefore meant they haven’t been able to clear the construction accesses that conflict with the rights of way.
